Comedy+ I hail oooo, na me; Abel Oladokun Asogba, but the general name wey dey bring 'esusu' is MC Ayanfe, humbly speaking I've been around this trade as an MC/stand-up comedian, professionally for over 5 years.
Let me take you back to when I started,
I started from my church (Gospel Faith Mission Int'l Gofamint) which I was attending then several years ago, I use to anchor programs across our branches, some how I have this love for being on the microphone, either preaching or anchoring church events, but professionally, I started when I teamed up with my brother from another mother, Femi Edwards, to produce Comedy+ Magazine in 2008. I think that was when the whole idea of doing this professionally started. In all fairness, God has been faithful. My only challenge thus far is the need to be better than I was yesterday in all ways.
Hmmm, events I've handled?
I don forget many but for record, Samsung Engineering Academy first year graduation ceremony. Bonny Island, Democracy day celebration, Port-Harcourt, Etisalat Easy Cliq val show @ Ibadan, Samsung Mobile activations, The Grand Masters Comedy Show, Corporate events, Agm's, Award and dinners,....see I never start yet, coz am just in line for the best of tomorrow.
As we speak, am working on my humor audio CD, and an evening with MC Ayanfe, it’s going to be Classic and Hilarious. Sure una go hear when we cook everything finish. Gba be
Who are my mentors? Eeeegbe 1. Dr Shogo, and 2. Any comedian that knows his worth both on stage and off stage.
My passion if not comedy?
Sure I like photography, and am presently undergoing a professional training in artistic photography, I also enjoy writing and consulting for people. I also train people through seminars, so if I wasn’t an MC, I would have been a business consultant infact the summary of me is (MC/Comedian/Speaker/Brand strategist)
