Today, we present to you one of Nollywood actress whose impact has been felt by many, especially those with the interest of going into the nollywoood industry. Uche Jombo born on December 28, 1972, in Abiriba, Abia State Nigeria, is a Nigerian actress, script writer and film producer. She is a graduate of Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar and Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology Minna. Uche Jombo ventured into the Nigerian movie industry in 1999 in the movie 'Visa to hell' and since then has over sixty movies to her credit. As a script writer she has written and co-written several movies some of which include: The Celebrity, Games Men Play, Girls in the Hood & A Time to Love. Jombo went on to produce films such as Nollywood Hustlers, Holding Hope and her latest work Damage which deals with the issue of domestic violence. Jombo is an ambassador for Globacom.
After several years of working as an actress, Uche ventured into script writing where she co-write movies like Games men play, A time to love, Girls in the hood and others. She later ventured into movie production with her business named Uche Production Studio. Having won millions of fan worldwide, Uche Jombo has won several awards which includes; 2008 Best actress by Agronomy group in London, 2010 City People Entertainment award for best actress, Life Changer award (Nollywoood Personality of the year) and others.
