The 2015 edition of AY Live, fast becoming a strong contender for Nigeria’s premier comedy showcase, took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 and lasted till the early hours of Monday.
AY (real name Ayo Makun), said a lot of efforts were made in featuring some of the nation’s best entertainers at the annual comedy and music show and the efforts showed. The event saw a host of several A-list celebrities storm the Maltina-sponsored comedy/music concert. He put the peace and wellbeing of this country before his ambition, and I can liken him to Jesus Christ today who sacrificed himself for us all and resurrected today,’ AY stated. And the crowded hall complied with AY to give Goodluck Jonathan a standing ovation....
Needless to say the event was a resounding success. The AY Live series will continue with the Port Harcourt and Abuja legs billed to hold later in the year.
