This Lagos based indigene of Ebonyi State started his musical career with underground collaborations which he did with artists such as Slam, Reggie Rockstone, Konga and XProject.
Patrick under 'Dem Mama Records' became a personality to be reckoned with after a collaboration with Timaya on his song "Alubarika”, which he ended when he signed a record deal with Foston Musik in early 2014 and released "Girlie O", which was produced by WizzyPro, a song that stole the heart of so many and brought him to lime light.
At the 2014 edition of the Headies, Patoranking stole the event winning three awards with one of them earning him the much coveted Car prize of the night. On 9th of February 2015, Patrick brought to the notice of his fans via Instagram that he signed a distribution deal with VP Records.
And since then, it can be said loudly that this Nigerian artist has been prospering in his musical career.
To seal it up, Patoranking is one of the nominees of MTV Base 2015 AMA Award under the “Best New Act Transformed by Absolute”, among other personalities such as; Anna Joyce(Angola), K. O (South Africa), Duncan (South Africa) and Stonebwoy (Ghana). Patoranking was successful on the award night as the star of the 'Best New Act' Award.
